El Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII), principal organismo público de investigación en ciencias de la salud y biomedicina en España, organiza un encuentro de trabajo y de matchmaking en el Instituto Cervantes de Río de Janeiro (Brasil) el día 12 de septiembre con entidades de investigación brasileñas relacionadas con la salud y la biomedicina, la formación académica y la evaluación de tecnologías sanitarias entre otras.

​El objetivo es reforzar y establecer lazos institucionales entre España y Brasil,​ presentando el ISCIII a entidades brasileñas clave en la investigación científica y biomédica. Se explorarán posibles colaboraciones, se impulsarán relaciones ya existentes y se valorarán posibles reuniones bilaterales con asistentes para intercambiar puntos de vista y explorar intereses comunes. ​​

​​El encuentro se produce con motivo de la Asamblea de Miembros de la Asociación Internacional de Institutos Nacionales de Salud Pública (IANPHI) y tendrá lugar esa semana en Rio de Janeiro y en el marco de la presidencia brasileña del G20.​.

The Institute of Health Carlos III (ISCIII), the main public research organization in health sciences and biomedicine in Spain, is organizing a work and matchmaking meeting at the Instituto Cervantes in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) on September 12 with Brazilian research entities related to health and biomedicine, academic training and the evaluation of health technologies, among others. 

The objective is to strengthen and establish institutional ties between Spain and Brazil, introducing the ISCIII to key Brazilian entities in scientific and biomedical research. Possible collaborations will be explored, existing relationships will be promoted and possible bilateral meetings with attendees will be assessed to exchange points of view and explore common interests. 

​​ The meeting takes place on the occasion of the Assembly of Members of the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI) that will take place that week in Rio de Janeiro and within the framework of the Brazilian presidency of the G20.​
